Before NeoLife, I was an active alcoholic, living in this constant state of feeling blue. I was the heaviest I had ever been and was starting to have physical effects from that. I never wanted to do anything with my kids or husband. I would get too hot and tired. I would yell upstairs for my kids because it just took too much effort to walk up there myself. I had very little, if any, confidence in my marriage and in myself.
Six months after going to rehab and getting sober, I was ready to get physically healthy. My mum, who’d been a part of NeoLife for 18 years urged me to get in the Challenge. I finally gave in and got started with the 3-Day Detox. This was a huge jump-start in my weight loss which fuelled my motivation to stick to the weight loss program.
I have experienced more than just a physical transformation. I’m celebrating 2 years of sobriety. I now have confidence in myself and my marriage. I have energy I have never had and a desire and motivation to be so much more than I ever thought I could be. I’m running! I’m present and involved in my children’s lives. I have a desire to discover new things with them and to teach them and persevere when things get tough! I don’t give up and give in anymore. I have become involved in something bigger than myself through NeoLife! I am part of a community that loves me and others with such strong, genuine love and truly desires to impact others’ lives in a very real and meaningful way! I want everyone to feel as great and as loved as I do!
